Katherine Eitel Belt is considered The Unscripted Communication Expert in the US, Canada, and the UK. An international keynote speaker, author, and coach, Katherine is the creator of The Lioness Principle™, a unique leadership communication tool. This guiding principle along with several other easily replicable tools are what LionSpeak uses to help professionals communicate with more authenticity and effectiveness. The company specializes in a broad range of communication forums including frontline telephone skills (including mystery shopper services), public speaking skills for executives and sales teams, media readiness, inter-team communications, adult learning techniques for trainers and educators, and personal leadership skills.

Using creative, non-traditional methods to help professionals break through barriers and achieve phenomenal results is something Katherine and the team at LionSpeak love to do! Though this transformative work, Katherine has become a mentor to other consultants, trainers, speakers, corporate executives, and managers. In response to that demand, Katherine created her Transformational Training and Inspirational Speaker’s Workshops as well as her Lion Camp Leadership Experiences which are annual sell-outs in San Diego, California and are considered the premier team retreat for progressive corporate and healthcare teams.

Katherine is a SCN Spotlight-On-Speaking champion, National Speaker’s Association member, Speaking/Consulting Network board member, and past-president of the Academy of Dental Management Consultants. She was recently honored as the 2015 recipient of the prestigious Linda Miles Spirit Award for her contributions to the dental industry.

Passions: “I’d say I have a passion for ‘exploring.’ I love exploring new foods, wines, cultures, art, history, theater, perspectives, hiking trails, experiences, and rich new conversations. I’m passionate about our summers at Tom’s cabin in the Sierra’s and evenings shared on the porch entertaining family and friends at our Ranch in Southern California.“

Big “Why”: “The ‘why’ that drives me is the undying belief that if we could all learn to communicate with more clarity and inspiration in a non-judgmental, respectful way from a strong emotional platform and in an unscripted, authentic voice… we could literally change the world. We could for sure change our own worlds at work and home.”

Guilty Pleasure: “I was born and raised in Texas and I simply cannot resist an ice-cold beer, crispy thin tortilla chips, and a steaming bowl of blanco chili con queso. My mouth is watering just thinking about it! (It’s a good thing I moved to Southern California because if I still lived in Texas I’d carry a hundred extra pounds!)”

Kelly’s Role: Kelly is the best employee that we’ve never met! It’s true… Kelly started out as our Virtual Administrative Assistant from Vandalia, Ohio in 2013. She moved up through the organization and became a Junior Trainer in 2019. While we had probably exchanged a few thousand emails and video conferenced a few hundred times, we worked together for 6 years before finally meeting. But, it didn’t seem to matter one bit as Kelly is an essential part of our team. She expertly handles all things financial at LionSpeak, manages all travel details for our team as well as our Mystery Shopper Call system and many, many other administrative tasks. Kelly owns her own virtual assistant business called Time On Hand Services so she can work remotely allowing her to home school her two boys. Kelly has a B.A. in Psychology, an M.S. in Counseling as well as being a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Ohio (LPCC) and a Certified Health Coach (CHC).

Passions: “My passion in life is wellness- in every area of life. I love to learn and to teach, and I love to help people be well professionally, spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically. If I can play a part in helping someone by well with themselves, well with God, or well with others in their life, I give it 110%!”

Big “Why”: “What drives me is my desire to use my gifts and strengths to make a positive impact in the world.”

What she loves most about working with LionSpeak: “I love that LionSpeak helps people get across their very important messages in a way that allows others to grasp the fullness of their message.”

Heroes: “My ultimate hero is Jesus Christ because He gave His life for me. Human heroes include anyone who keeps going and keeps loving despite life’s many challenges and pains.”

Guilty Pleasure: ”Definitely chocolate.”

Traci’s Role: Traci understands all too well the importance of exceptional communication skills within the workplace, as she has managed a highly successful dental practice for many years. In addition to her management duties, she is in the trenches with her dental team as a practicing hygienist of over 30 years. She sees firsthand the importance of delivering powerful greeting, telephone, and financial conversation skills to patients and how important it is to empower your team to enjoy their workday while delivering exceptional customer service.

Passions: “I love spending precious time with my family, friends, and boyfriend, Scott. I love to travel and experience different cultures. The times that I spend with my granddaughter are some of my most meaningful moments. I enjoy being outside and gardening and I take great joy from entertaining my family and friends on my back deck while enjoying the many seasons of Michigan.”

Her “Why”: “It is important to me to leave a strong but graceful legacy. One of my core values is service above self. I love watching people grow, learn, and feel empowered while achieving their dreams.”

What she loves most about working with LionSpeak: “I love the authenticity of what we teach. Coming from a place of seeing the best in people is comforting to me and is congruent with how I live my life.”

Heroes: “The heroes of my life are the women leaders of my family. My grandmothers were tremendous influences in my life with their grace and independence. My mom is the “strongest little woman” I know. I am grateful for all that I have learned from these powerful women.”

Guilty Pleasure: “People watching. I find by watching others, I can allow myself a temporary escape from my own worries.”

Stacy’s Role: Stacy is the best example of who you want as an administrative leader in your business and practice. Smart, deeply connected, charming, and focused on results, she’s the best we’ve found at coaching all the skills necessary to be a superstar administrator or team leader… because she has been, and is, one! Stacy began her career in dentistry in 1993 and has worked as a dental assistant, administrative team member, and office manager in general dental practices as well as a specialty practice. Stacy spent
more than ten years helping to grow a large cosmetic and reconstructive practice for a past President and Fellow of the AACD.

Stacy teaches our Have Them at Hello Unscripted Telephone Skills as well as evaluates calls and coaches clients subscribed in our Mystery Shopper Phone Skills Training Camp program. In addition, Stacy helps treatment and financial coordinators master those challenging conversations with patients as well as the leadership conversations necessary for team managers and leaders. The epitome of professionalism, she still has so much fun and effortlessly brings the laughter and joy to some serious learning.

Passions: Family. Shopping. Brunch. Travel. Teaching.
“I had my daughter at 35 years old and have raised her all on my own. I have 4 brothers and 2 sisters, and I love to spending time with my family. They are an amazing tribe! I love to shop and have a unique sense of style. I also love to travel, and brunch is my favorite meal. My passion for learning resulted in a passion for teaching. I practice Unity and consider myself a very spiritual person. I’ve worked hard to become the person I am and feel truly happy and fulfilled.”

Her “Why”: “Dentistry has been a part of my world for more than half of my life, and I love helping clients realize their potential and watching them fly! I love being part of growing practices and helping them become financially successful as well as emotionally healthy. One of my favorite quotes is: ‘The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away.’ Having the ability to make a difference in the life of a person and a practice makes me very happy. My personal commitment to myself is to live a life that fills my buckets. The joy I receive from working with clients definitely fills one of those buckets.”

What she loves most about working with LionSpeak: “Katherine was one of my very first mentors. This opportunity to work together provides me JOY. LionSpeak is completely aligned with my personal and professional beliefs and to get to be a part of this company is an absolute honor.”

Heroes: “My dad and my grandmother. Dad was a fire chief and saved a lot of lives. I admired his focus, hard work, and the love he had for our community and for me. His smile lit up a room, and one thing people said about him that stuck with me was, ‘I’d follow that guy anywhere.’ My grandmother had the ability to make people feel welcomed and loved. She was the glue that held my family together. A celebrity hero for me is Oprah Winfrey because I admire her ability to connect with all people and share her gifts. And, of course, Jackie Kennedy because of her class and fashion sense.”

Guilty Pleasure: “Shopping… with brunch!”
