My clients who have had a Phone Skills Training Call experience with me know that perfection is not a quality I value nearly as much as a commitment to constant improvement and growth. If you believe that you have not become your best self yet, then there is always something more that can be learned. Likewise, you should never fall into the trap of thinking that your efforts are not worthy because they are not perfect.
Decide to constantly strive for better instead of perfect. You’ll handle patient phone calls better today than yesterday. You’ll make a better temporary. You’ll find better words to move a patient to action or educate them in a more easily understood way. You’ll be a better leader. Be more open to learning and trying new ideas and tips that can generate improvement.
And then, at the end of your week, be satisfied that you were better this week than last and be content with the knowledge that next week will yield an even better “you.”
“The only fool bigger than the person who knows it all is the person who argues with him.”
